Unfortunately a fault in the website means we are unable to amend the Impressions Art Awards Page and post images of the winning works - and our website designer is out of the country. However, images of the winning works can be viewed on Facebook . Also, they are shown in our October newsletter so just click on the Impressions Newsletter on the menu on the left, then select the October newsletter. As soon as we can remedy the situation, images will be added to our Impressions Art Awards page. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Fine Art Supplies
From play paints for junior artists to 'professional' artist quality acrylics, oils, watercolours, designers gouache, drawing media including inks, charcoal, pastels and pencils to canvas, papers, easels, brushes, palettes, additives, mediums and varnishes – we cater for most artists' needs. Impressions carries a number of reputable brands.
We have been appointed as the NZ Distributor for Unison Colour Soft Pastels. We are happy to supply retail art stores with their own range of these popular pastels. And anyone wishing to purchase pastels for their own use who does not have a local store selling them, is welcome to order direct from Impressions. More details about these popular pastels and a colour chart can be downloaded from the Fine Art Supplies page.
For further information about Unison Colour Soft Pastels go to www.unisoncolour.co.uk
We have introduced Golden Acrylics to our range of Fine Art Supplies. This range has quickly become the favourite of many artists with good reason. The wide range of mediums makes the brand highly versatile, and the heavy pigmentation allows for excellent coverage.
Impressions is proud to offer a comprehensive picture framing service. Customers regularly say they choose us because we do the best job.
Owner/manager Lewis Della Bosca GCF and staff picture framer Penny Lennard GCF adhere to the rigid picture framing standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild (UK) of which Impressions is a member. Both have earned their Guild Commended Framer qualifications after extensive picture framing experience and passing the examination administered by the Fine Art Trade Guild in London.
